Paul GerrardCEO

Paul is a seasoned business leader, entrepreneur, and coach with a lifelong passion for building people and businesses. Over his career, he has helped launch, scale, and support multiple successful ventures across franchising, technology, and service-based industries.

Paul spent 21 years at Hewlett-Packard and went on to hold executive leadership roles across a range of businesses—from high-growth tech and service companies to swim schools and specialty hospitality concepts. Throughout his journey, he has been deeply committed to mentoring leaders, developing strong teams, and creating cultures where people and businesses can thrive.

In recent years, Paul has focused his expertise on franchising, playing key roles in brands such as SafeSplash Swim Schools, Bluebird Portraits, and now Beauty Refined. His experience, steady leadership, and long-term perspective bring invaluable guidance to the brand as it grows with intention and integrity.

Outside of business, Paul is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Tami, have been married for nearly 50 years and are proud parents to two sons and grandparents to four grandchildren—an enduring reminder of the values, relationships, and legacy that guide everything he does.

Annette WychgramCCO

Annette is the Founder & Owner of Beauty Refined and a nationally recognized Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and clinical trainer. She built Beauty Refined from the ground up with one goal: to raise the standard in medical aesthetics through refined, natural results and exceptional care.

With a deep clinical background and advanced aesthetic training, Annette brings unmatched expertise to every Beauty Refined location. As a national trainer and Key Opinion Leader for leading aesthetic brands, she stays at the forefront of innovation—and passes that knowledge directly to franchisees.

As Founder, Annette is actively involved in setting clinical standards, developing treatment protocols, and mentoring injectors across the brand. Franchise owners don’t just get a name—they get hands-on leadership, proven systems, and a founder who is fully invested in helping every location thrive.

Karissa GerrardCOO

Karissa brings over 15 years of franchise leadership experience to Beauty Refined, with a proven track record of building, scaling, and strengthening high-performing franchise systems. She played a pivotal role in growing SafeSplash Swim School into one of North America’s largest swim school franchisors, helping guide operations, acquisitions, and expansion across more than 150 locations.

Known for her strategic mindset and franchisee-first approach, Karissa has built scalable systems, optimized unit-level economics, and led support teams that help owners launch strong, operate efficiently, and grow confidently. From integrating acquisitions to improving customer retention and profitability, she brings the kind of real-world experience that directly benefits franchise owners.

Karissa is also deeply passionate about health and wellness, which makes Beauty Refined a natural fit. She believes confidence starts from within—and that when people feel their best, their beauty naturally follows. That philosophy drives her excitement for helping franchisees deliver not just aesthetic services, but an elevated, confidence-boosting client experience at every location.

Hans WychgramCTO

Hans brings over 20 years of engineering and operational experience to Beauty Refined, serving as the brand’s strategic backbone and ultimate problem solver. With a rare mix of analytical precision and hands-on execution, Hans helps turn big ideas into systems that actually work.

From day one, Hans has worked side by side with Annette to build Beauty Refined’s operational foundation. He plays a key role in business strategy, infrastructure, and day-to-day decision-making—bringing clarity, calm leadership, and practical solutions to even the most complex challenges.
Hans has touched nearly every part of the business, from systems and IT to vendor management, marketing support, and facilities planning. He personally helped design, build, and optimize Beauty Refined locations, giving franchisees real-world insight into site planning, build-outs, and operational efficiency.
